Support Maryland Tax Credit for Farmer Food Donations

Support Maryland Tax Credit for Farmer Food Donations to Communities in Need
Senator Middleton and Delegate Jameson have re-introduced a tax credit bill to incentivize farmers to donate fresh food to the hunger community. Although the bill passed unanimously through the Senate in the past, it did not make it out of the House Ways and Means committee. The state pilot starts in the 5 counties of Southern Maryland and Montgomery County.
The Senate Hearing is February 15 at 1 pm in Budget and Taxation.
